K9 Arts Academy

In the current year 2023, we are contracted to do random searches of company vehicles after a CT corporation had employees sign off on a “no illicit drug “ policy on company property. In January 2023 our Narcotic Detection K9 searched 18 company vehicles and hit positive finds on 9 vehicles. In August 2023 our K9 Team searched 18 company vehicles and hit positive finds on only 2 vehicles. Our presence and our K9 Teams hard work has brought employees much closer to 100% compliance with the company No Drug Policy. Our Narcotics Teams have also been contracted to search in private homes when parents have suspected their child of drug use. This has been a very effective tool for parents. With the positive information our K9’s may produce, parents can have an honest conversation with their child in order to get them the help they need without getting Law Enforcement involved. Our Bed Bug Detection K9’s have been very busy in both corporations and private homes. In July 2023 our Bed Bug Detection Teams searched 2 entire corporate buildings twice, including 3 shift change searches each day for a period of 5 days. Employees felt secure when they came to work knowing their areas were clear of Bed Bugs. All of our working K9 Detection Dogs are well practiced when not on duty. We utilize our 8ft scent wall and real life scenario searches to keep our dogs ready to go when called to work.

We realize every situation has different needs. We are flexible in order to get the job done. As always Safety and Discretion are at the forefront for our K9 Teams and all persons involved.

K9 Arts Academy provides service skill training when needed. One client started with a high anxiety dog named Luna. We trained Luna to be confident and get over her fears. While in training her owner needed Cancer surgery with a long recovery time. Luna was trained to pick things up and bring items to her owner. Luna performed her tasks exceptionally and was a very good companion and support system. (Video is on our website)
